Everything you need to know about Ignova's telehealth services and telehealth treatment options.
What is Ignova?
Ignova is an Australian telehealth clinic where qualified doctors provide personalised consultations and care recommendations. Outcomes may include further assessment, lifestyle recommendations, referral, no treatment, or treatment options where clinically appropriate.
How does Ignova work?
The pathway is assessment, consultation, clinical decision, then an appropriate care pathway. Complete a health questionnaire, attend a telehealth consultation with an Australian-registered clinician, and receive personalised care recommendations. Where prescribed, medications may be supplied through appropriate pharmacy channels.
Who can use Ignova?
Ignova is available to anyone aged 18 and over currently located in Australia. Our clinicians will assess your eligibility during the consultation based on your individual health circumstances.
Do I need a referral or insurance?
No. You do not need a GP referral or private health insurance to use Ignova. Our consultations are self-funded, with transparent pricing starting from $250.
If medication is prescribed, how is it supplied?
Medication is only supplied where clinically appropriate after assessment. Where prescribed, medications may be supplied through appropriate pharmacy channels. Supply timeframes depend on the pharmacy and the medicine prescribed, and are not guaranteed.
Is my information kept confidential?
Absolutely. We adhere to strict Australian privacy and healthcare data regulations. Your health information, consultations, and treatment details are kept fully confidential and encrypted.
What if I need to cancel?
You can cancel your consultation or subscription at any time. There are no lock-in contracts or cancellation fees. Simply log in to your patient portal or contact our support team.
How do renewals work?
When your treatment review period approaches, we will send reminders. Complete the required check-in process and your clinician will review your ongoing suitability before making any prescribing decisions. Repeat prescribing is not automatic.
Are the medications safe?
Where medication is prescribed, it is prescribed by AHPRA-registered practitioners following clinical assessment. Your clinician will discuss potential benefits, risks, and side effects during your consultation. Prescribing is not guaranteed.
Can I speak to the same doctor each time?
We strive to maintain continuity of care. When booking follow-up consultations, you can request to see the same clinician where available.
What if treatment is not clinically appropriate?
If your clinician determines that a treatment option is not clinically appropriate, they will discuss this with you and may recommend alternative pathways, which may include seeing your GP or another healthcare provider.
How do I contact support?
